Malkajigiri police arrest interstate thief, seize 21 autos worth Rs 30 lakhs
Srinivas along with Munawar, Anwar, and Javed of Gulbarga formed a gang and targeted parked autorickshaws
HYDERABAD: The Malkajgiri Police have seized 21 autorickshaws worth Rs. 30 lakh in Malkajgiri district and arrested the accused. According to Malkajgiri DCP Rakshitha Murthy, Maganuri Srinivas (32), a resident of Gulbarga in Karnataka was making a living by driving an autorickshaw and living in Moulali RTC Colony for some time.
Srinivas along with Munawar, Anwar, and Javed of Gulbarga formed a gang and targeted parked autorickshaws and sold the stolen vehicles in Gulbarga. The police, while conducting raids, caught the accused and seized the stolen vehicles.
The DCP said that 21 cases had already been filed against the accused Srinivas in Malkajigiri, Neredmet, Chandanagar, Miyapur Police Station limits.
