Man arrested for sexual assault on mentally disabled woman in Nalgonda

NALGONDA: A man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a mentally disabled woman in Shaligowraram Mandal of Nalgonda district.

The accused, Dasharath, who worked alongside the victim's father, frequently visited their home as part of his job. During these visits, he noticed the victim often being alone. Seizing the opportunity when the family members were away, Dasharath allegedly committed the heinous act.

Upon returning home in the evening, the victim's parents were informed of the assault by their distressed daughter. They immediately reported the incident to the local police station. The police acted promptly, taking Dasharath into custody and initiating an investigation.
