Man attacked, wife abducted allegedly over inter-caste marriage in Bhadradri Kothagudem

KOTHAGUDEM: Unknown assailants abducted a woman besides attacking her husband in Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Thursday.

According to details, Dulagonda Sunny from Khammam and Goggela Madhavi from Kothagudem, who were in love for quite some time, got married recently.

However, while Sunny was taking his wife from Khammam to Kothagudem College in an auto for project work, the assailants chased the couple and attacked them besides kidnapping the young woman in a car.

Sunny alleged that he was attacked and his wife was kidnapped due to their inter-caste marriage. He approached the police and complained that their live were under threat.
