Man dies after being hit by train while crossing tracks at Cherlapally
Railway police recover body, case registered; victim is survived by wife and four children.
HYDERABAD: A man died after being hit by a train while crossing the tracks near Cherlapally railway station under the Secunderabad railway police jurisdiction.
The victim, identified as 36-year-old Aslam from Bihar, was working as a helper at a local chicken centre in Cherlapally.
Aslam was crossing the tracks on his way home after work when a train struck him, killing him instantly. Upon receiving information, railway police reached the scene and took possession of the body. The body was later sent to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for postmortem.
Police have registered a case and begun an investigation. Aslam is survived by his wife and four children.
