HYDERABAD: A man killed his wife, two children, and hanged himself in his house in the Rajiv Grihakalpa under Chandanagar police station. The incident occurred in Serilingampally. According to police, the door of the house has been locked since last Friday. The locals revealed that none of them opened the door despite knocking and therefore informed the police.
On receiving the information, the Chandanagar Police and Clues team immediately reached the spot and found the man Nagaraju (43) hanging from a fan, wife Sujatha (35) and children Ramyasree (7) Siddhartha (Tillu-11) with serious stab wounds lay in a pool of blood.
The police suspected two reasons for the suicide- family disputes and financial difficulties that may have led to the suicide or the husband had attacked his wife and children with scissors and later hanged himself. The bodies were recovered and shifted to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered and the investigation is in process.
