Man slits wife's throat over suspicion of illicit affair in Chandanagar

HYDERABAD: A man brutally murdered his wife in front of their daughter over suspicion of an alleged extramarital affair with another man near the Nallagandla area under Chandanagar police station limits in Hyderabad.

According to information, the deceased Ambika, 27,who is separated from her husband Narendra over continuous discord, was living alone with her daughter and making a living by working at a boutique store near Nallagandla of Chandanagar.

The enraged husband on Friday went to the Swasa Boutique showroom and killed Ambika by hitting her with a stone besides slitting her throat with a knife.

The Chandanagar police reached the spot and inquired about the incident. The police suspect an extramarital affair as the cause of the murder and started an investigation in that direction.
