Man stabs friend and his mother in drunken rage in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: In a shocking incident in Hyderabad's Kukatpally area, a man in an inebriated state stabbed his friend and his friend's mother following a heated argument. The mother sustained severe injuries and is currently receiving treatment at Gandhi Hospital.

According to reports, three friends - Jagdish, Vinod, and Saikumar, residents of Raghavendra Society in Kukatpally - were drinking together at Vinod's house while his family was away. An argument broke out between Jagdish and Vinod, escalating into a physical altercation.

Jagdish left and informed his mother, Parvathi, about the incident. Concerned, Parvathi accompanied her son to Vinod's house to address the situation. However, Vinod responded with verbal abuse directed at both of them. As the argument escalated, Vinod allegedly attacked Jagdish with a knife. When Parvathi tried to intervene, Vinod stabbed her as well, causing severe injuries to her shoulder.

Both Jagdish and Parvathi were rushed to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.

Kukatpally police have registered a case and are currently investigating the incident.
