Mobile phone explodes in doctor’s pocket, no injuries reported

KAMAREDDY: A private medical practitioner had a narrow escape when his mobile phone exploded in his trouser pocket, leaving him unscathed.

Enige Sayilu, a resident of Pitlam SC Colony, was just arriving at his clinic when he noticed smoke emanating from his pocket. Before he could react, the mobile phone suddenly exploded, completely destroying the device and burning through his pocket. Despite the alarming incident, Sayilu fortunately escaped without any injuries.
