Woman dies by suicide as her son fails to get through CA exam in Jeedimetla

HYDERABAD: A woman committed suicide over her son's failure in the Chartered Accountancy (CA) examination at Balaji Nagar enclave in Gajularamaram of Medchal Malkajgiri district.

According to the Jeedimetla Circle Inspector Pavan, the woman has been identified as Pushpa Jyoti. As her son could not get through the CA examination, the mother was deeply concerned about her son's future. Unfortunately, she chose to end her life by hanging herself from a fan when no one was at home.

Upon receiving information, the Jeedimetla police arrived at the spot and shifted the dead body to the hospital for post-mortem examination. The police stated that they would register a case and investigate it further.
