One murdered in drunken brawl in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: One person was murdered as a consequence of escalated tempers in a drunken brawl in Hyderabad late Saturday night. The gruesome incident happened in Sulaiman Nagar under Attapur police station limits.

The victim, identified as Khaleelullah (30), along with his friends, had a liquor party and later entered into a scuffle under the influence of alcohol. According to the locals, they attacked one another with knives as tempers ran high, resulting in the Killing of Khaleelullah.

The police examined the scene of offence and shifted the dead body to Osmania Hospital for a post-mortem examination. A case was registered and investigation is on.
