NALGONDA: In a shocking incident, a pregnant woman was forced to deliver her baby on a chair due to the alleged negligence of medical staff at the Nalgonda Government Hospital.

Ashwini, a resident of Neredugomma Mandal, experienced labour pains late at night and was taken to the Devarakonda Government Hospital. However, due to the absence of doctors, she was referred to the Nalgonda Government Hospital.

Upon arrival at the Nalgonda hospital, Ashwini was not provided with a bed and was left to sit in a chair. Despite her critical condition, the hospital staff reportedly ignored her needs. As a result, Ashwini delivered her baby while still seated in the chair early in the morning.

It was only after noticing the severe bleeding that the medical staff hurried to assist her. The delay and negligence have led to severe criticism from Ashwini's family, who are demanding accountability from the hospital authorities.
