Singer Mangli injured in car accident as DCM hits vehicle in Shamshabad

HYDERABAD: Singer Satyavathi Rathod, popularly known as Mangli, had a lucky escape after she was injured in a road accident at Thondapally, Shamshabad on Sunday night.

Mangli, accompanied by two acquaintances, was returning to her house from Shamshabad when her car was involved in a rear-end collision on Thondapally road. According to the police, a heavy vehicle (DCM) crashed into their car from behind.

All three occupants of the car sustained injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, the police stated that the injuries were minor.

A case has been registered by the police, who are currently investigating the incident.
