Students protest against PET teacher’s abuse in Rajanna Sircilla Gurukul school
Tribal girl students demand immediate suspension of the teacher for alleged abuse and humiliation.
SIRCILLA: Students from Sarampalli Tribal Girls Gurukul School in Rajanna Sircilla district protested against a PET (Physical Education Teacher), Jyotsna, accusing her of physical abuse and humiliation.
The teacher allegedly forced female students to undress and beat them with a stick after they were late for prayer due to menstruation-related delays.
According to the students, the teacher did not listen to their explanation and punished them severely inside the bathroom. The students claimed that Jyotsna had been harassing them regularly, and this latest incident pushed them to protest on the streets. They demanded immediate justice and the teacher's suspension for her actions.
Despite earlier complaints to the school principal and other authorities, no action was taken, leaving the students frustrated. The affected students are now urging strict measures against the teacher, calling her behaviour inhumane and abusive.
