Telugu boy Sai Varshith charged with attempt to kill US President Biden
Telugu boy Sai Varshith Kandula of Chesterfield, Missouri was charged with attempt to murder US President Joe Biden as he tried to ram his truck into the White House security barrier.
HYDERABAD: Indian-origin Telugu boy Sai Varshith Kandula of Chesterfield, Missouri was charged with attempt to murder US President Joe Biden as he tried to ram his truck twice into the White House security barrier.
According to reports from Washington, Kandula influenced by Nazi ideology, wanted to harm the president. Varshith rented a U Haul truck and crashed it into security barricades at Lafayette Square near the White House on Monday night.
Alert security personnel immediately arrested the young man and who was identified as Sai Varshit Kandula, a Telugu boy. It was during the questioning the accused revealed that he was targeting US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
The police registered a case against Sai Varshith on charges of use of deadly weapons, negligent driving, trying to endanger the life of the President, destruction of government property, etc.
Police have said that no one was injured in the incident. The police also informed the same to the President’s office.
According to police the boy belonged to Chesterfield, USA and was a 2022 graduate of Marquette Senior High School. Sources in Chesterfield revealed that Sai Varshith Kandula has an ideology close to German Nazi ideology. Nazi flags and other incriminating material were found in the truck that he drove.
