HYDERABAD: Sleuths of the CCS Balanagar team, in coordination with Jeedimetla police station, apprehended three notorious automobile offenders, Boini Srikanth, Methari Bhasker, and Mettu Srikanth, on Wednesday.

The automobile offenders stole two motorcycles and one automobile in the city limits Cyberabad, Hyderabad, and Vikarabad using duplicate keys and used to sell the stolen vehicles to unknown people. The police also seized 27 motorcycles and one auto, all worth Rs. 22,20,000.

According to the DCP Kalmeshwar Shingenavar, the two accused, who belong to Kamalpur Village of Yalal Mandal, Vikarabad District, were previously involved in 15 cases at Hyderabad and Cyberabad limits and were arrested in the year 2022. The offenders didn’t change their attitude and continued to commit Automobile offences even after being released from jail.

They planned to commit the automobile offences from isolated areas in the late night hours, and unlocked the motorcycles using duplicate keys and stolen vehicles. They later sold the motorcycles from innocent people in Tandur, Vikarabad, and surrounding areas.
