Three girls sexually assaulted for days in Guntur, rescued by Disha App

GUNTUR: In a chilling incident in which a fake priest allegedly exploited three girls besides performing puja by making the girls nude at various lodges in Vijayawada, Guntur, and Ongole on the pretext of paying money has caused a stir at Ponnekallu of Guntur district. The incident came to light after the victims complained through Disha App.

According to police, three girls from Kurnool, who needed money, approached a woman who belonged to Chilakaluripet who in turn took the girls to a priest.

The priest, who was habituated to cheating and raping women in the name of puja, took the three girls to a lodge and performed puja by making them nude. He also raped the three girls for a few days threatening them that they would lose money if they stopped the puja.

The priest and other three youths, who were involved in the incident for money, upon knowing that their plan of making money had gone in vain left the three girls near Hosanna Church in Amaravati and fled.

Realising that they were deceived, the girls complained to the police through Disha App while the Nallapadu police rescued the girls and shifted them to the police station. The Nallapadu police started an investigation and launched search operations for the priest, three youths, and a woman who are absconding.
