Train fire averted at Visakhapatnam Railway Station
Three coaches of an empty express train caught fire at Visakhapatnam Railway Station.
Three coaches of the Tirumala Express caught fire at Visakhapatnam Railway Station earlier on Sunday.
The train, travelling from Korba to Visakhapatnam, was empty at the time of the incident. The fire broke out in the AC coaches, destroying carriages B6, B7 and M1. Railway staff were able to contain the blaze, which caused thick smoke to engulf the station. No injuries were reported.
