Two female labourers raped by shop owners in Nagarkurnool

NAGARKURNOOL: In a disturbing incident in Nagarkurnool's Balmoor mandal, two female labourers from different villages were allegedly raped by two shop owners.

Vinod Singh and Ghajanand Singh, who run shops in the town, approached the women seeking daily wage work. The men claimed they needed help with household chores and took the women to their residence.

After completing the work, the men deceived the women with false promises and took them in a car to Dindi in the Nalgonda district. They made the women consume alcohol and then drove to the outskirts of Hajipur near the Srisailam-Hyderabad National Highway. Taking advantage of the women's intoxicated state, the men allegedly raped them in the car.

Police have registered a case and began the investigation.
