Unemployment drives young weaver to suicide in Sircilla
Unemployment claims the life of another weaver in Sircilla, marking the 18th suicide among weavers this year.
SIRCILLA: A 22-year-old weaver took his own life reportedly due to mounting debt and lack of work.
The victim, Jakkani Satish, from BY Nagar in Sircilla district, ended his life due to financial pressures and unemployment.
Satish, who had been living with his sister after the death of their parents, worked as a weaver. However, with no work available for the past few months, he struggled to make ends meet and was forced to take on debt. Unable to find a way out of his financial troubles, Satish succumbed to despair and hanged himself at home.
This tragic incident marks the 18th suicide among weavers in Sircilla this year, highlighting the severe unemployment crisis in the region.
