Woman dies by suicide in Mylardevpally, mother accuses in-laws of murder

HYDERABAD: A married woman allegedly died by suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her residence at Shastipuram in Mylardevpally of Ranga Reddy district.

The victim,identified as Rafia Fathima, had locked herself in the room and had not come out for a long time. The family members broke open the door only to see Rafia hanging from the ceiling and rushed her to hospital. However, the doctors pronounced her brought dead.

Meanwhile, the mother of Rafia Fathima alleged that their daughter was murdered by her husband and in-laws and they framed it as a suicide. She lodged a complaint against the three at Mylardevpalli Police Station demanding justice and a re-postmortem of the dead body. Further, it was alleged that their son-in-law threatened them not to reveal any information to the police.
