Woman killed, several injured in bus accident in Narasaraopet

NARASARAOPET: A woman died and three others, including the driver, were seriously injured when a private travel bus overturned at Petlurivaripalem in Narasaraopet mandal. The Sri Tulsi Travels bus was en route from Palanadu in Karnataka to Yanam with 39 passengers on board.

The deceased woman was identified as Divya from Vijayawada. Additionally, 19 people sustained minor injuries in the accident. The injured were taken to a private hospital in Narasaraopet for treatment.

According to reports, the driver lost control of the bus while attempting to avoid tree branches that had fallen on the road due to heavy rain.
