Young couple dies by suicide in Keesara due to family feuds

MEDCHAL: A young couple died by suicide in Ahmedguda under the Keesara police station limits of Medchal Malkajgiri district on Tuesday, reportedly due to family feuds.

The deceased were identified as Anji (25) and Vaishnavi (22), both working at Rajiv Gruhakalpa at Ahmedguda. They resorted to the extreme step for reasons yet to be ascertained. It is learned that they were married only six months back. The twin deaths in suicide pact sent shockwaves locally.

The police, upon receiving information, arrived at the incident and shifted the dead bodies to Gandhi Hospital for a post-mortem examination. A case of suicide was registered and an investigation is underway.

However, the police suspect that family problems could be the reason for the couple's suicide.
