Young man dies in hit-and-run near Tarnaka

HYDERABAD: A young man died in a hit-and-run incident near Tarnaka Metro Pillar.

According to Chilkalguda SI P Kishore, the victim, Mohin Sultan (28) from Bholakpur, was a small trader in Malkajgiri. On Wednesday night, after attending a friend's birthday celebration, he was returning home from Tarnaka around 3 AM.

While taking a U-turn near Metro Pillar Number 1084, an unidentified lorry hit him and fled the scene. The 108 emergency personnel examined Sultan and declared him dead due to severe injuries.

A case has been registered based on a complaint from the deceased's brother, Mansoor Sultan.
