Osmania University, BRAOU postpones exams in view of heavy rains in Telangana

HYDERABAD: Osmania University and Dr. BR Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) postponed exams for the next two days on Thursday due to heavy rainfall in Telangana.
The announcement came after the Telangana government granted two days of holiday to all educational institutions in the state due to heavy rains.
After considerable speculation, JNTUH too postponed and rescheduled exams due to heavy rains on Thursday. The University rescheduled the postponed BTech and Bpharm exams on July 26, 2023.
Osmania University declared in an official circular, "As per the instructions from the Government of Telangana State, all examinations scheduled on July 20 to July 2 under the jurisdiction of Osmania University have been postponed due to incessant rains."
"The Rescheduled Time-Table for all postponed examinations will be posted in due course on the OU website," the circular added.
Dr. BR Ambedkar Open University also issued an official statement, adding, "As per the Government's instructions and due to the incessant rains, all examinations in two Telugu states have been postponed (Telangana and Andhra Pradesh) Exam dates will be rescheduled at a later date.
