Chiranjeevi confirms a project with Maruthi
A few months ago, it was reported that director Maruthi will do a film with Megastar Chiranjeevi and UV Creations will bankroll the project.

A few months ago, it was reported that director Maruthi will do a film with Megastar Chiranjeevi and UV Creations will bankroll the project. However, no one gave an official confirmation about the news and both Chiru and Maruthi got busy with their respective commitments.
Last night, Chiranjeevi attended the pre-release event of Maruthi's Pakka Commercial as a chief guest. Speaking at the event, Chiru said that he knows Maruthi from the times of his party, Praja Rajyam. He said he likes the vision of the director and also loved his films like Prema Katha Chitram and Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy.
"UV Creations' Vicky is a close friend of my son Charan. One day, Vicky came to me and requested me to do a film with Maruthi. Now, I am promising that I will do a film with Maruthi under the UV Creations banner soon," said Chiru.
He asked Maruthi to get done with his ongoing commitments and come to him with the script. As of now, Maruthi is awaiting the release of Pakka Commercial. After that, he will do a movie with Prabhas. On the flip side, Chiru has Godfather, Bholaa Shankar, Mega 154 (film with Bobby) and Mega 155 (film with Venky Kudumula) in the pipeline.
