​Superstar Mahesh Babu moves out of Pongal race?

Superstar Mahesh Babu is yet to start his upcoming film SSMB 28. According to the reports, the shooting was supposed to start by now but it is getting delayed as Mahesh asked for a few changes in the script. Apparently, director Trivikram is working on those changes.

Earlier, it was expected that the film will hit the screens during Sankranthi 2023. But it is now made clear that the film has been moved out of the festive race.

SSMB 28 is being produced by Sithara Entertainment. Same producers are also bankrolling SSMB 28 under the banner Haarika and Hassine Creations. Recently, the producers have announced a film with Panjaa Vaishnav Tej. It was also confirmed that this movie will hit the screens during Sankranthi 2023.

With this announcement, it is now made clear that SSMB 28 has moved out of the race. As of now, Prabhas's Adipurush, Vijay's Vaarasudu and Vaishnav Tej's untitled movie have booked the Sankranthi release slot.

As it is out of the Sankranthi race, SSMB may mostly hit the screens during the summer of next year, opined the sources.
