14 killed as a bus carrying labourers collides with trolley in UP

HYDERABAD: As many as 14 people were reported killed and about 40 injured after a bus traveling from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh collided with a trolley in the Suhagi Pahari area in the Rewa area on Saturday morning.

According to Rewa SP Navaneet Basin, all the victims were labourers hailing from Uttar Pradesh who were going to the town for the Diwali festival.

Upon receiving the information about the accident, the police plunged into action and started rescue operations shifting 20 injured to Prayagraj hospital. The police cleared the vehicles and restored the traffic.

The Police have registered a case and are investigating. However, more details are yet to be ascertained regarding this incident.
