Harassed, 10th class student dies by suicide in Alwal

HYDERABAD: In a shocker, a 10th class student of a private school died by suicide in Alwal, Hyderabad on Thursday, allegedly unable to bear the harassment of his school management and principal. The victim was identified as Akhilesh (15). The incident happened at the residence of the victim in Reddy Basti of Macha Bollaram under the Alwal Police Station limits.

Akhilesh was studying in Bethany Academic School, located in the Bolarum area. The victim reportedly left behind a suicide note in which he blamed the school management and the principal for his extreme step. The boy reportedly stated that he was unable to bear their harassment.

Conflicting reports emerged suggesting that the boy was subjected to harassment by a teacher. Full details on the shocking incident were awaited.
