Banjara hills traffic Sub-inspector ends life

HYDERABAD: ABanjara Hills traffic Sub-inspector(SI) was found dead by the side of railway track near Moulali on Thursday, in what is believed to be a case of suicide.

The deceased was identified as SI Ramana based on the cell phone found in his pocket, according to reports. Witnesses, who saw his body at the Moulali track, and alerted the police. He was later identified as a member of the 2020 SI batch.

Ramana, who hailed from Vasudevapuram village in Kotabommali mandal of Srikakulam district, was selected in the Telangana government's Police SI recruitment exam in 2020.

According to some reports, Ramana, who was still on probation, ended his life as a following a failed lover affair. Further investigation is being conducted to determine the exact cause of his extreme step.
