Che Guevara's daughter, granddaughter visit Sundarayya Vignana Kendram in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Iconic Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara's daughter Dr Alaida Guevara and her daughter Prof. Estafania Guevara arrived in Hyderabad from Kolkata and visited Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram as part of their one-day visit to Hyderabad on Sunday.

The duo who will be felicitated at the Cuba Solidarity meeting scheduled to be held at Ravindra Bharathi on Sunday evening. Dr Aleida Guevara has been invited as the chief guest for the meeting, expected to be attended by officials from the State Government, distinguished luminaries from various walks of life besides representatives of several people's organizations. The solidarity meeting will also see the presence of politicians representing various parties.

A solidarity committee formed under the aegis of Cuba Telangana committee Coordinators Balamallesh and Narasimha Rao called on the people to make the meeting successful.

A preparatory meeting for the Cuba solidarity event was held at Makhdoom Bhavan recently and it was decided to make the meeting a success and extend a grand welcome to the daughter and granddaughter of Che Guevara.

Flexes of Che Guevara have been put up around Ravindra Bharathi, where the meeting is scheduled to be held at 4:30 pm.
