Che Guevara's daughter remembers her father, says he fought for the poor

HYDERABAD: Dr. Alaida Guevara, daughter of Cuba's revolutionary leader Che Guevara who came to participate in Cuba Solidarity meeting on Sunday has recalled her memories with her father. Speaking on the occasion, she said that her father left an indelible mark on her despite spending little time with him.

Stating that she broke into tears by reading the last pages of her father's book, she remembered the memories of that day and asserted that her father was a Guerrilla warrior with a great personality who strongly believed in his ideology and practiced it till the end.

Che Guevara's daughter Aldia further said her father Che Guevara used to work 24 hours for people and recalled that she used to hear her father's ideologies at the sugarcane fields. She said she read her father's book without knowing it was written by him and opined she had a great experience with the book.

Dr. Aldaia who is touring India with her daughter Prof. Estefania (Cheguvera's granddaughter), arrived in Hyderabad on Sunday and participated in the Cuba Solidarity Meeting held at Ravindra Bharati in Hyderabad. Many leaders from public associations participated in the meeting.
