HYDERABAD: An explosion occurred at a garbage dumping yard near Snow World at the Lower Tank Bund under Gandhinagar Police Station limits, leaving a man and his son. The duo collect waste papers are seriously injured.

Chikkadapalli ACP Yadagiri and Gandhinagar CI Mohan Rao, who reached the spot, shifted the injured to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. The police are collecting evidence to find out the cause of the explosion.

The injured were identified as Chandranna and his son Suresh of Nancharla village of Kurnool district.

The Police said that Suresh's condition was critical.
