HYDERABAD: A special complaint system has been created for efficient maintenance of street lights installed across GHMC. In order to overcome the defects caused by the street light installed by Energy Efficiency Service Limited (EESL) with LED in the GHMC area, Panwar Lal conducted street light maintenance awareness classes for the EEs working in the Electricity Department of GHMC on Thursday.

On this occasion, the representatives of the organisation said that in the context of the installation of street lights with LED bulbs throughout the GHMC, they would receive complaints from the people through e-mail, with a special app and toll-free number to solve the problem. It is explained that EESL set up a special EESL sampark app, toll-free number 1800-180-3580, e-mail id help line@eesl.co.in web portal support.eeslindia.org to lodge complaints.

If the maintenance of street lights is not proper or if any lights are burnt out, as soon as a complaint is received, steps will be taken to replace them with new ones to provide better services to the city residents.

Panwar Lal said that they are working on the app developed by an ESL company so that everyone can download the app on their cell phones and complain about the problems faced in terms of maintenance of LED lights.

Superintending Engineer Srinivas, EE Mamata Deputy Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers, representatives of EESL Package Agency, and others participated in this meeting.
