Karate Kalyani lodges complaint against Tollywood music director Devi Sri Prasad

HYDERABAD: Film actress Karate Kalyani, accompanied by members of a few Hindu groups, lodged a complaint on Wednesday against popular Tollywood music director Devi Sri Prasad with the cyber-crime police.

Actress Karate Kalyani alleged that the Hare Rama and Hare Krishna mantras were wrongly depicted in the item song composed by Devi Sri Prasad for his private album 'O Pari.' They demanded action against the music director for his depiction of the song by wearing objectionable outfits and dancing. They also demanded an apology from the music director for hurting the religious sentiments.

Karate Kalyani had also demanded that the song be removed immediately from the album. She threatened to lay siege to Devisree Prasad's office if her demand was not met immediately.
