KCR exhorts continued preaching of forgiveness, peace for development: Christmas celebrations

HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, on Wednesday, participated in Christmas celebrations organised by the State in LB Stadium, where he said that Telangana had been a peaceful State and that the people should continue to live peacefully.

"All the Christian brothers and sisters should follow the path of forgiveness and peace and 'Vasudaiva kutumbakam' (one world, one family) as taught by Jesus Christ," said KCR.

The Chief Minister also said that all sections of people in Telangana regardless of caste, creed or religion were being developed. He said that with everyone's cooperation and harmony, he aimed at getting similar development for the entire country.

At the event, Chief Minister KCR gave presents to children, cut a Christmas cake and lit candles among other celebrations. The event was followed by a dinner where all dignitaries including KCR enjoyed a Christmas meal.
