Missing case of a young man takes horrific turn, turns out to be murder

SANGAREDDY: A case of a young man missing in Pattancheruvu of Sangareddy district took a dramatic turn after it was found that the young man was murdered by the family members of his lover.

According to police, Balaswamy, who hails from Kodera in Nagarkurnool district, came to Hyderabad along with his family for employment and was staying in Patancheruvu. Balaswamy's son Shiva Kumar, who is working as a labourer, fell in love with a young woman from Musheerabad and used to meet her frequently.

However, the girl's parents came to know about the love affair and reprimanded the girl, and decided to kill Shiva over caste issues.

As per the plan, the young man was called by the girl and family members to discuss the issue on October 7 to which Shiva said he had no money for commute. Later, Shiva Kumar, after receiving money from the girl through Google pay, reached her house in Musheerabad.

Meanwhile, Shiva's mother called him as he didn't reach home. When Shiva was telling about his whereabouts, the accused snatched the mobile and switched it off. The victim's parents who reached Musheerabad the next day asked the girl's family members about the whereabouts of their son and complained to the Pattancheruvu police, but there was no response from them (family members).

The police registered a case and detained two of the young woman's family members and interrogated them who admitted that they had killed him and threw him in the Nala near Musheerabad. The police carried out search operations for Shiva Kumar's body.
