Silpa Layout Flyover to be inaugurated by KTR on Friday

Name of the flyover: Construction of 4-lane bidirectional flyover from Shilpa Layout to ORR near Gachibowli junction under Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC)/Turnkey basis.

The work includes:

♦ Construction of 4 lane bidirectional flyover (which shall include 15.60m C/W including central median + 2*0.5m for Crash Barriers) from Shilpa Layout to ORR which further splits into two independent 2 lane flyovers (which shall include 7.5m C/W + 2*0.5m for Crash Barrier) connecting to ORR on either side

♦ Construction of 2 lane unidirectional flyover for Up ramp towards Mind Space (which shall include 7.5m C/W + 2*0.5m for Crash Barrier)

♦ Construction of 2 lane unidirectional flyover for Down ramp from Mind Space (which shall include 7.5m C/W + 2*0.5m for Crash Barrier)

Benefits of the Project:

♦ Traffic relief at Gachibowli Junction.

♦ To cater to the needs of developmental activities in Hyderabad Knowledge centre

(HKC) and nearby localities

♦ Better connectivity between Hi-tech City, HKC and Financial District.

♦ With this main object of connecting Punjagutta (IRR) to Gachibowli (ORR) is achieved.

♦ Will achieve direct connectivity to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) from core city via Punjagutta, Jubilee Hills Checkpost, Road no.45, Durgam Cheruvu, HKC and Gachibowli.

2. Up Ramp from ORR to Shilpa Layout Flyover 8.5m 2 Lane = 458.64

3. Down Ramp from Shilpa Layout Flyover to ORR 8.5m 2 Lane = 399.95m

4. Up Ramp Flyover towards Mind Space 8.5m 2 Lane = 473m

5. Down Ramp Flyover from Mind Space 8.5m 2 Lane = 522m

Total Length of Flyover : 2810 m
