Traffic advisory for National Anthem programme at Abids on August 16
Traffic restrictions have been imposed at G.P.O. Circle, Abids, Hyderabad, between 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

HYDERABAD: In connection with the mass singing of the National Anthem, in which Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would be participating, traffic restrictions have been imposed at G.P.O. Circle, Abids, Hyderabad, between 9:30 am to 12:30 pm on August 16.
Traffic diversions and restrictions would be made, if required as per the local situation:
1.Traffic coming from Liberty and Basheerbagh towards BJR Circle would not be allowed towards Abids and would be diverted at BJR Circle towards AR Petrol Pump to Nampally Station Road.
2.RTC buses coming from Liberty towards BJR Circle would not be allowed and diverted at Liberty towards Himayatnagar – Narayanguda – Kachiguda – Koti.
3.Traffic coming from King Koti to Abids main road would not be allowed and would be diverted at King Koti X Roads towards Hanuman Tekdi, Troop Bazar, Koti.
4.Traffic coming from Boggulakunta to Abids main road would not be allowed and would be diverted at Boggulakunta X Roads towards Hanuman Tekdi, Troop Bazar, Koti.
5.Traffic coming from M.J. Market and Jambagh towards Abids would not be allowed and would be directed at MJ Market towards Nampally Station Road.
6.Traffic coming from PCR towards BJR Circle would not be allowed and would be diverted at AR Petrol Pump towards Nampally Station Road.
7.Expecting traffic congestion at Somajiguda – Khairatabad – Ravindra Bharathi junction – Assembly – L.B. Stadium – BJR statue – Liberty – Himayathnagar – GPO Abids - M.J. Market – Nampally.
The police urged people to avoid these routes.
1.Vehicles coming for attending function at Abids Circle from Liberty would be parked at Nizam College Grounds, Taj Mahal to King Koti X Roads, BATA to Boggulakunta X Roads, GHMC Office, Ramakrishna Theatre, George Grammar School.
2.Vehicles coming for attending function at Abids Circle from MJ Market, Afzal Gunj would be parked at Exhibition Grounds, Annapurna Hotel Road.
All citizens were requested to take alternate routes to their destinations and avoid the above routes during the specified timings and co-operate with the Traffic Police.
