HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has congratulated the Telugu film industry for its success at the 69th National Film Awards. He said that the awards were a testament to the hard work and dedication of the filmmakers, actors, and technicians who made Telugu cinema possible.

The Chief Minister specifically mentioned the wins of Allu Arjun for 'Best Actor' and Chandrabose for 'Best Film Lyrics'. He said that these wins were a recognition of the talent and creativity of the Telugu film industry.

"This is a proud moment that a Telugu hero won the best actor award for the first time in the last 60 years," KCR said.

KCR also praised Chandrabose for his win and said that he was "a well-known lyricist who has written songs for many popular Telugu films" and that his work was "a recognition of his ability to capture the emotions of the characters and the audience."

The Chief Minister also congratualted other winners of National Awards including Devi Sri Prasad as 'Best Music Director' amd Kalabhairava as 'Best Playback Singer (Male)' for the movie Pushpa. Purushottamacharyu won the 'Best Film Critic award.

KCR said that the success of Telugu films at the National Film Awards was a testament to the growing success of Telugu cinema. "Telugu films are now being recognized not only in India but also around the world. This is due in part to the hard work and dedication of the filmmakers, actors, and technicians who make Telugu cinema possible," he said.

KCR concluded that he was committed to the promotion of Telugu cinema. He said that the State Government would continue to provide financial assistance and other support to the industry to help it grow and prosper. He also said that he hoped that Telugu cinema would continue to achieve success at the national and international level.
