Tharun Bhascker announces his next directorial

Director Tharun Bhascker made an impressive debut with the 2016 rom-com Pelli Choopulu. It made Vijay Deverakonda and Ritu Varma overnight stars. After such a promising debut, Tharun came up with his second outing Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi in 2018.

This buddy-comedy enjoys a cult following among the younger generation of audiences. It also made Vishwak Sen a popular hero in the Telugu film industry. After a gap of more than four years, Tharun announced his third directorial feature film.

He decided to come up with a crime comedy this time. Titled Keeda Cola, this film was announced the other day with a concept poster. Keeda translates to an insect and Cola means cold drink. The title sounds interesting and it has to be seen what Tharun has in store for us this time.

Tharun also penned the story of this movie. It is being bankrolled by Bharath Kumar, Sripad Nandiraj, Upendra Varma, Srinivas Kaushik, Saikrishna Gadwal, and Vijay Kumar. The film is slated for the 2023 release. More details about the rest of the cast and crew are expected to be announced soon.
