HYDERABAD: BRS Hyderabad in-charge Dr Sravan Dasoju has said that ironically External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar cleverly evaded to clarify if Indian territory, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s regime, is occupied by China or not?

Sravan Dasoju on Sunday reacted to the remarks made by Jaishankar during a television discussion. Taking to Twitter, Sravan Dasoju said that the Chinese intrusion and construction of villages etc in Arunachal Pradesh and some other parts of Indian territory, like age-old incidents during the times of the previous Congress regime, was simply irresponsible and an irrational attempt to legitimise the intrusion.

“What is more miserable to, indulging in slippery talk attributing to Nehru times has no meaning. The nation has a right to know what your Government is doing now. And one mistake does not justify another mistake. After all, in democracy, national security is a matter of serious concern for all 140 crore Indians, not just for the ruling party,” Sravan Dasoju said.

The BRS Hyderabad in-charge also said, “When they claimed that we are respected as a nation internationally now, we all Indians have a right to know what is happening to the so-called international diplomacy of Narendra Modi and how much land we actually lost to China? One may not want to know how many troops are deployed on the border, but certainly have a right to know if our land is protected or encroached? If the previous Government concealed the truth, it does not grant an undemocratic and anti-constitutional authority to Narendra Modi's Government not to divulge the truth.”
