HYDERABAD: Telangana farmers are not benefiting from Prime Minister Fasal Bima Yojana since the State administration refused to allow us to execute the scheme in Telangana, said Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday.

Piyush Goyal, while addressing a public meeting in Hyderabad, said,"Telangana residents are making our country proud across the World doing a great job in the IT and software industry. It's heartbreaking to observe the political developments in the last 10 years as a result of a compromised family politics and corrupted government in Telangana. All BJP volunteers will travel across Telangana to educate Telangana voters about the corrupt KCR, KTR and Kavitha, and will seek a vote for the BJP party for a developed Telangana State.

"We have seen how Prime Minister Narendra Modi has developed our country through various people-friendly schemes. We have also seen how PM Modi is transforming India's fragile economy into a developed country free of corruption, propelling India to the fifth largest economy in the world, but the Telangana government has done nothing to assist us. We initiated many efforts, but the Telangana government did not allow or encourage us to implement the centre initiated schemes in Telangana. Prime Minister Narendra Modi implemented several projects without discrimination. However, the Telangana government wants to break the State with their caste and religious discrimination, whereas the Prime Minister tries to keep the country intact with unity through his hard work and initiatives," he adds.

Piyush Goyal said, "The Sammaka Sarakka Central Tribal University in Telangana was recently approved by the Union Cabinet. It took years to establish this University because the Telangana government waited so long to provide us land for the University, but I'm delighted it's now becoming a reality. Even though the Telangana administration was not supportive, we did everything we could to make this University a reality."

The BJP hoped that double-engine BJP Government free from corruption and family politics forms in Telangana to significantly contribute to development, including road infrastructure and employment generation, he said.
