HYDERABAD: BRS working president K T Rama Rao (KTR) has emphasised the importance of winning the upcoming by-elections for the MLC seat and asked the party leaders to focus on keeping the organisation intact and united. He also discussed the strategy to be adopted by the party to win the seat. KTR held a review meeting with the leaders of the joint Mahbubnagar district on Monday.

During the meeting, BRS leaders discussed the preparation for upcoming by-elections for one Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) seat under local bodies and the Lok Sabha polls for the Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool constituencies. Several senior leaders of the party, including V Srinivas Goud and Lakshma Reddy, were present at the meeting.

The leaders also deliberated on the strategies for the parliamentary elections for the Mahabubnagar and Nagar Kurnool constituencies. KTR informed the leaders that BRS President K Chandrashekhar Rao would soon conduct a detailed preparatory meeting on these two Lok Sabha seats.

After discussing the present political scenario in the joint Mahabubnagar district, the leaders expressed hope that the party's chances of victory in these two Lok Sabha elections and the MLC elections were strong.
