In a big relief to Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy, Telangana High Court dismissed bail cancellation plea of approver Dastagiri in YS Viveka murder case

HYDERABAD: The Telangana HighCourt on Friday dismissed the petition of Dastagiri, prime accused and approved in YS Vivrknanda Reddy murder case seeking cancellation of the bail of Kadapa MP Y S Avinash Reddy, who is contesting as MP candidate from Kadapa again on behalf of YSR Congress Party.
In another petition, Avinash Reddy’s father YE Bhaskar Reddy who is languishing in the jail was granted bail by the High Court.
This is the second time that the High Court gave this relief to the Kadapa MP.
Dastagiri has been filing petitions against Avinash Reddy on his bail and also TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu and Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president YS Sharmila on taking about the Vivekananda Reddy murder case in public domain.
Kadapa MP’s father YS Bhaskara Reddy is in jail in the same case since June 2023. He was granted an escort bail for a brief period in December.
The case has too many trappings with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) taking over the investigation and then Andhra Pradesh Government led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy decided to launch the probe on its own and opposed the CBi probe.
