2 killed as car overturns, falls in well in Mahbubabad

MAHBUBABAD: Two persons were killed and two others were injured on Friday, when their overturned and fell in a roadside well in the suburbs of Kesamudhram in the Mahbubabad district.

According to reports, the accident occurred while five family members of Banoth Bhadrunaik were driving from Tekulapally in the Bhadradrikottagudem district to Annaram Sharif on Friday. While returning from a family gathering, two ladies took a ride in their car.

According to eyewitnesses, seven people were in the car when the accident took place. Meanwhile, the bodies of two women have been retrieved from the crash site. Gugulothu Bikku, the driver, and his daughter-in-law were unharmed.

The cops responded swiftly and initiated rescue operations. The search for Banothu Bhadrunaik, his wife Sumalatha, and their son Dixit is underway.
