HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) has said that Sanath Nagar will be the first constituency where the pilot project of providing 24-hour water supply for Hyderabad will be taken up.

Speaking at a booth level committee meeting organised by the BRS party in Sanath Nagar by Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Monday, KTR said, "It is my responsilbliity to ensure that that pilot project of the BRS Government to ensure 24-hour water supply to Hyderabad will be taken up in Sanath Nagar."

Sharing details about how the BRS Government boosted medical services in Hyderabad, KTR said, "The BRS is the first Government to set up around 350 basti dawakhanas to ensure treatment of the poor. The K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) Government is also constructing four new hospitals in the name of Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS).

"A 1000-bed TIMS hospital is being constructed in Sanath Nagar and will be ready in the next nine months. New blocks are also being constructed with 2,000 beds in NIMS, 1,000 beds in TIMS Alwal and 1,000 beds in TIMS Gaddiannaram," he explained.

Expressing confidence that Srinivas Yadav will win with a huge majority, KTR said, "If there are 50 other leaders like Talasani Srinivas Yadav, there will be no tension during elections for any party. He works with a plan and strategy and has never asked for personal favours. He doesn't need to campaign exclusively during elections. He is always among the people, 365 days a year."
