HYDERABAD: ABP-CVoter has predicted a dip of at least 8 to 10 seats for the Telangana Congress in the last one month, as per its survey for the Assembly elections scheduled for November 30, 2023.

According to its latest survey released on Saturday, "The Congress is likely to win 43 to 55 seats while the BRS is expected to win 49 to 61 seats. The BJP is expected to get 5-11 seats with the rest getting about 4-10 seats."

In its previous survey about a month ago, ABP-CVoter had predicted a win for the Congress in Telangana.

"As per projections, Congress is expected to win 48-60 seats in the 119 seat Assembly. The BRS is projected to win 43 to 55 seats while the BJP is likely to win 5-11 seats," ABP-CVoter had said in its October survey.

The survey indicated that despite a dip, the Congress had seen a significant improvement in terms of vote share from the 2018 Assembly elections in Telangana.

"In the previous election, the Congress got 28.3 per cent votes. However, according to the current estimate, the grand old party is expected to win 39.4 per cent votes. On the other hand, the BRS which dominated the last election with 46.9 per cent of the votes, will get 40.5 per cent of the votes which is a decrease of 6.4 per cent," according to the survey.

Voter turnout too is expected to increase by 11.1 per cent this year, said the survey.
