Anjani Kumar posted as chairman of Road Safety Authority, CV Anand as DG, ACB among 20 IPS transfers

HYDERABAD: Former DGP Anjani Kumar has been appointed as the Chairman of Road Safety Authority, while former Commissioner of Hyderabad City Police C V Anand is posted as Director-General of Anti-Corruption Bureau. While Anjani Kumar was suspended by the Election Commission of India for greeting Revanth Reddy even as the counting was going on, Anand was transferred out and kept waiting by the ECI. Kumar’s suspension was revoked after he provided an explanation.Present incharge DGP Ravi Gupta is appointed the DG (Coordination), while he continues to hold the incharge DGP as additional charge.
