Bandi Sanjay gets a peck on cheek during his yatra in Telangana

HYDERABAD: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Telangana President Bandi Sanjay received a strong peck on his cheek on Thursday. The Karimnagar MP received this 'surprise gift' during his Praja Sangrama Yatra in Nalgonda district. But it may not have been among the most heartening experiences for the leader as it was a man who delivered it. He is also incidentally a BJP activist.

Bandi Sanjay has been meeting people and party workers all along his foot march. Many of them were seen initiating a brief chat with him before requesting the leader to pose for selfies. On Thursday too, the BJP state chief interacted with so many until this man took him by surprise. The unidentified person, who appeared to be an ardent fan of Sanjay, came next to him and walked up a bit alongside before planting the peck on his cheek. Shocked at first instance and visibly embarrassed, Sanjay moved on while the person slipped into the confluence of people that marched along with the BJP state chief.

The video instantly went viral on social media with netizens having a field day with their comments laced with wit and fun.
