HYDERABAD: "There are problems everywhere is what I observed during this yatra. The Government is trying to create problems . We have taken permission for the public meeting but now they are trying to sabotage that too. This public meeting will be held and I will ensure that it's a grand success," said Telangana's BJP president Bandi Sanjay at Pamnur on Friday.

The High Court gave a nod to Bandi Sanjay's public meeting which would be held in Hanamkonda on August 27. The BJP's National President J P Nadda would address the public meeting. The 'praja sangrama yatra' resumed from Pamnur of Station Ghanpur constituency on Friday.

He said that the BJP would fight for public welfare. "We have raised many petitions for double bedroom houses, jobs, pensions and public welfare in general. However, there was no response. The Chief Minister has not fulfilled any promise that he made. The BJP would come into power for the people," he said.

Reportedly, the BJP leader along with other party workers, would walk over 20 km per day. The march would end on August 27 at Hanamkonda Arts College, where the public meeting was scheduled.

The BJP workers and Bandi's supporters geared up to walk alongside him. He also urged the party workers to make the public meeting a success.

During the padayatra, when a TRS activist tried to intercept Bandi Sanjay, the BJP party members attacked him and yelled slogans against Chief Minister KCR. The police resorted to a lathi charge and controlled the situation.
